According to several reports, the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi is the front-runner among the shortlisted venues for the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) Playoffs. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced a revised IPL 2025 season schedule, which will kick off with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) vs Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Saturday, May 17. The T20 tournament will resume after a gap of one week following a brief suspension due to escalating India-Pakistan border tensions.
As per earlier reports, Mumbai and Ahmedabad were the frontrunners to host the IPL 2025 playoffs. The Wankhede Stadium is set to get at least one playoff game, while Ahmedabad will most likely host the IPL 2025 final on June 03.

Besides Mumbai and Ahmedabad, Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi is likely to get a playoff game, that are set to be played from May 29 and June 03. Delhi has already hosted four of the seven home games of their franchise, Capitals, this season. There are still four games left to be played in the 13 league stage games left.
Delhi Stadium will also witness CSK vs RR and SRH vs KKR games in the revised IPL 2025 schedule.

BCCI shortlists six venues for the revised IPL 2025 schedule
Six venues - Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Lucknow—will conduct the remainder of the 13 group-stage matches. The venues for the four IPL 2025 playoffs will be revealed later by BCCI. The Capitals are currently placed fifth on the IPL 2025 points table, winning six games and losing five games in 11 matches that they have played so far.
