India and England face off in the fifth Test at The Oval from July 31. With the series locked at 2-1, this is the decider of the series.
India in recent times have won one and lost one game at the Oval. They won the 2021 Test against England and lost the WTC final against Australia.
England have already named their playing XI for the fifth Test. Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer are ruled out of the fourth Test. For India, Rishabh Pant is ruled out and Jasprit Bumrah is set to be rested. Both teams will see a few new faces in the playing XI, with a debut in prospect for Arshdeep Singh.
So far, the series has been very closely fought between the two sides. England won the first Test at Headingley, followed by India's win at Edgbaston. The Men in Blue were unfortunate to lose the Lord's Test. Then, they showed great determination and grit to draw the fourth Test.
