Sachin Tendulkar’s Iconic Portrait Unveiled at Lord’s Long Room Ahead of Third Test
The moment took place just ahead of the third Test at Lord’s, with the portrait being unveiled by the Master Blaster himself. This tribute was followed by the traditional bell-ringing ceremony, with Tendulkar ringing the bell to officially begin the day’s play, a tradition that has been followed since 2007.
Sachin, one of the greatest to ever play the game, has scored nearly 16,000 runs in Test cricket, including a record 51 centuries. Despite scoring just 45 runs at Lord’s in his career, greatness isn’t always measured in numbers and Lord’s didn’t fail to honour the legend in its grand fashion.
