Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) scripted history by becoming the first team to win all seven away matches in a single season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
This feat was accomplished during IPL 2025, culminating in a thrilling six-wicket victory of RCB over Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Â
Chasing 228 runs, RCB annihilated Lucknow. Jitesh Sharma’s 85-run blinder helped them seize the win in just 18.4 overs, also confirming their place in the Qualifier 1. This is now RCB’s highest run-chase in the IPL history.

Wins over Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Jaipur, Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Mullanpur, Delhi Capitals (DC) in Delhi, and finally LSG in Lucknow helped them achieve a clean sweep of away games as they set a new benchmark in the league's history.

This is RCB’s best chance of winning the title. The last time they played Qualifer 1 was in 2016. The final of IPL 2025 is slated for June 3 in Ahmedabad.
